KWNA Proposed Leadership Structure In an effort to UNITE and better serve our neighborhood – we are proposing a new leadership structure so that all areas of the neighborhood are represented. PRESIDENT Street Captain Duties · Attend meetings and/or attend on behalf of Division Leader. · Hand out information or neighborhood association communications on their streets. · Welcome new neighbors and give the Association Brochure, submit names of new residents to membership committee. · Establish a call sheet for emergency information distribution on their street(s). Division Leader Duties · Can carry position of Secretary, Treasure, or Chair of any Committee · Voting for their division on issues as they arise. · Responsible for Street Captains in their divisions, this includes distributing information to street captains. · Representing the neighborhood association with elected City and County officials on behalf of the President if a substitute is needed. · Attend bi-monthly meetings and called meetings. · Bring issues from their divisions to bi-monthly meetings for discussion and resolution. President Duties · Holds ultimate responsibility to interface with elected officials on behalf of all four neighborhoods. · Chairs bi-monthly association meetings and any other called meetings. · Calls meetings. · Coordinates all activities.
